We are so excited you are interested in serving with our Mariners in the Gap Daytime Distance Learning Program to support parents needing care for their kids in K-5th grade.
Serve opportunities in the following roles:
Pod (Group) Leader: Oversee a pod of 10-14 children and assist with helping them get online for their distance learning, participate in activities, oversee recreation, and supervise them during schooling time. This would be a great fit for someone who loves engaging with, encouraging, and spending quality time with kids. Some college education is required.
Classroom Helper: Assist the Pod Leaders when needed with things like helping students get online, passing out and participating in activities, supervision during recreation, and anything else that is needed around the classrooms. This would be a great fit for someone who loves to be around kids, is servant hearted, and detail oriented.
Safety protocol: With so many new safety protocols in place, we need a team who can help us with sanitation schedules, managing social distance, and helping everyone with staying healthy and safe. If this is something you are passionate about, you would be a great fit!
Check in & Check out: We need detail oriented, enthusiastic people ready to greet our parents and and check in their kids. You will be helping to put both parents and kids at ease, while getting them checked in and ready to go for their day!
Programming Support: Are you interested in helping to plan activities and assemble crafts? Then this would a great fit for you! This would also present an option for anyone who isn't ready to be around lots of people at this time as you can assist with things outside of the classroom.
